A career in the Royal Air Force is like no other. From the speedy role progression to the unrivalled skills and training you receive; all whilst travelling around the world and making friends for life, it really is No Ordinary Job.
We believe that our differences make us stronger. That's why the RAF is leading in diversity and one of the most inclusive forces in the world. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a pilot to be in the RAF! There are many entry points into the organisation, from the Reserves, Engineering, Apprenticeships and Graduate Schemes.
We are here to help, so feel free to reach out to any of our mentors who can help you explore the incredible opportunities we have to offer.

We are currently recruiting engineers and here’s a bit more information about being an Engineer in the RAF:
The Engineer Profession is essential for the success of each mission. They look after and fix all aircraft, airfield support equipment, electronics and weaponry required to support operations in the air.
As an Engineer you will ensure the RAF is able to complete missions safely at a moments notice. It's up to you to make sure equipment is ready to use, whenever and wherever it's needed.
As an Engineer Officer, you will be responsible for leading your team and making technical decisions when it matters most. This is a degree level role with world-class training.
As a Technician you will be trained extensively and be responsible for all of the RAF’s cutting-edge machinery and equipment. These technical roles start with an apprenticeship.
